The Organisation
The organisation is a UK based primary school delivering education to early years and infant age pupils. The school places strong importance on safeguarding, accessibility and effective use of technology within the classroom. Digital tools are used to support learning, staff administration and pupil engagement across the school environment.
The Challenge
The infant suite classroom required an update to ensure devices aligned with the school’s wider Microsoft cloud strategy. The existing setup did not fully support centralised management or simplified authentication suitable for young pupils. Teaching staff also required a consistent and reliable platform that reduced disruption during lessons while maintaining secure access to educational resources.
Our Approach
The solution involved replacing the existing classroom devices with 30 Windows mini desktop devices configured specifically for an education environment. Each device was joined to Microsoft Entra ID and enrolled into Microsoft Intune, allowing centralised management, policy control and application

User authentication was simplified through the implementation of Wonde My Login using emoji based logins, enabling young pupils to access devices quickly and independently. Microsoft 365 A3 for Students licences were assigned to all infant user accounts, providing access to education tools and enhanced security features.

The Results
The new environment delivered a consistent and easy to manage classroom setup. Device management and security were significantly improved through Intune and Entra ID integration. Emoji based logins reduced classroom disruption and improved accessibility for pupils. Teaching staff benefited from a reliable platform that supported smoother lesson delivery and reduced technical issues.
